After several days of bidding over dozen of deals on eBay, I finally won one and getting my RasPi in approx~ 30 days.

I already had some plans to do with the RasPi: a cheap NAS/a torrent seedbox or maybe a router (with Arch). This is gonna be fun.

On a side note, I learnt a couple of new things when dealing with auctioning on eBay. Thought I would share.

• Select the auctions which ends in your convenient time. Lots of people start bidding when it about to end. It’s critical to be up when its end.
• Don’t bid early.
• Set a price limit.
• Bid an untypical amount. People usually bid an even amount like $10, $10.5 so chances are you may outbid them with $10.12 or $10.61.
• Observe the bidding pattern to see how badly other bidders want the item.
• When bidding at last minutes, just set the price to your price limit above. Don’t worry, eBay will just raise the price enough to beat the current highest bidder if possible.
