I created Nutrisystem Reviews in order to help people share how Nutrisystem has helped them stop overeating and lose the pounds. Since starting the site, I've received so many reviews from other Nutrisystem customers that it only made sense to allow everyone to share their experiences - the good and the bad.
Read the customer reviews. Nutrisystem is a great plan for losing weight. I needed to lose weight because I was feeling unhealthy and my waist was growing.
I tried the Brazilian Dieta Dukan at http: I decided to try Nutrisystem because of the fact that I did not have to learn how to cook to lose weight. I also liked the fact that I did not need to count calories or weigh portions. The food with Nutrisystem tastes great. I have lost 14 pounds with Nutrisystem and I am still losing weight. I feel healthier than I have felt in a long time. I love the results I am seeing.
I feel much more confident about myself. Nutrisystem is hassle free. The biggest thing I have to worry about with Nutrisystem is which delicious food I feel like eating for dinner tonight. Building Good Habits 4 out of 5 stars. I think Nutrisystem builds good habits - portion control and good website for good support. I lost almost 40 lbs since April it's now December with absolutely no exercise. I finally quit my gym membership after 4 months. They were quite supportive and worked with me the whole time.
I'll return to Nutrisystem if the weight returns, but so far so good, and it's holiday overeating time! Next time I go veggie 4 out of 5 stars. I tried Nutri System almost two years ago and lost 22 pounds pretty quickly. If I need it again, I'll try the vegetarian meals as I hear they're just as tasty and easy to prepare as the Basic Plan. I gave the Basic Plan 4 stars because one shipment of food I received was missing two snack bars. Be sure to count your food when you get it to ensure everything is there.
Easy As Pie 5 out of 5 stars. I just started Nutrisystem about a week ago and I absolutely love it! I am a very picky eater, so I thought the food was going to be questionable, but it is surprisingly good.
I really like that I don't need to count calories or spend a lot of time preparing meals. I have been pretty good about completing the daily logs online exercise, meals, water, etc. They help me keep on track. One of the things I think is absolutely great about Nutrisystem is the literature they provide with your 1st order.
I received a restaurant guide used it twice already and a menu book that includes approved foods you can use to supplement your menu at the grocery store. I am doing the 5 day flex plan, but am contemplating upgrading to the full 7-day program as it really is a no brainer and I am concerned about having the liberty to choose my own meals on the weekends that has proven to be very dangerous!
The program is really simple to follow and my carb, sugar and salt cravings are gone. Today my wife came home with a cookie for my son she bought at Starbucks. It looked so good, so I decided to have the NS chocolate chip cookie for my dessert and it was very satisfying. I love this program! I have been on Nutrisystem for 6 months and I have lost just over 35 lbs.
I also joined a local gym and have a personal trainer which of course helps. My goal is to look as good as the day I graduated from High School when I go to my 50th class reunion in By the way, I already think I look better than the day I graduated!
I know, wishful thinking, right? I've been on it for over a year and only lost 45 pounds. My support group keeps telling me to stick with it longer, claiming that if you stick with the plan you will lose all the weight you want. I've read on the NS support forums that 45 pounds is great, but I had hoped that I would have lost pounds by now. Maybe I'll need to start exercising after all. When I started the program I did not know if I would stick with it. Diets can be hard to stick with sometimes.
However, the Nutrisystem plan is not hard to stick with. The plan is laid out so simply that anyone can follow it. The Nutrisystem plan comes with a money back guarantee. If a person joins the program and does not like it he can receive his money back.
The plan is so easy to follow. I have lost 22 pounds on the program while eating things like chocolate cake. Unlike Medifast, the food is delicious. If you are thinking of trying the plan but are afraid that you will not like the food please stop worrying. The Nutrisystem plan comes with a great menu with foods on the menu that are very delicious. I have lost 32 pounds and finally feel like I may make my goal of losing I wasn't thrilled with the food when I started, but now that I can choose the foods that I really like it is much better.
I love the pizzas loaded with red pepper or onions and pineapple. We've had out of town company and been to many family gatherings, where I used to overeat. I find that when I have my own food that I like and because I am rarely hunger now, that the temptation to cheat is just not there.
I also love most of the desserts, but who doesn't: Five years ago I lost 62 lbs on NS, but over the years I gained back 38 lbs. Now I am back on the system and intend to stay until I reach my goal weight. My co-worker is using Jenny Craig but it was just to cost prohibitive for me. I've tried her meals and honestly didn't think they were as tasty as Nutrisystems are.
Just 65 Pounds Left To Go 4 out of 5 stars. I am on my 10th day on Nutrisystem and I absolutely love it! The food is great and a lot better tasting than Jenny Craig. I have lost 8 pounds so far and am really excited. I have 65 more to go to reach my goal weight. The website is full of good information and tons of motivation which I need and love!! Anyone can do this diet. At 32 years old, I had surpassed pounds and went on a diet with Slimfast Shakes and low fat dinners that I made.
I was single at the time and had the time to prepare my own meals and exercise vigorously for about an hour 5 days a week. Needless to say, I did lose 40 lbs in 3 months, but it was hard work and I was always hungry. I'm now 40 years old now and after several failed starts I decided to give Nutrisystem a go. Being married with 2 children, my time is much more limited now.
Nutrisystem is perfect for this reason as I don't have to count calories — it's all done online for me. The meals are reasonably good and you can pretty much choose the meals you want. The first month I went with the default menu and selected the meals I liked best for the second and third month.
I'm following the menu strictly and my caloric intake is around calories a day. All in all, I have been on the diet for 42 days and I have lost 23 lbs and 3 inches off my waist!
This program is well worth it! I needed to go on a diet. I had gained 25 pounds over the last year and I could not fit into any of my clothes. I did not want to go buy a whole new wardrobe when I already had a perfectly good one.
With Nutrisystem I have access to a website that allows me to track my weight loss progress. I enjoy logging onto the website and seeing how far I have come. I also get support from the website. I enjoy almost all of the foods Nutrisystem has to offer. They all taste pretty good. The best part of Nutrisystem is that I have lost weight with a program that is extremely easy to follow. I liked many aspects of the diet; however, I thought the food portions were too small.
Maybe I'm too used to supersizing everything? The Nutrisystem plan does work though. When I was using the plan I lost about fifteen pounds.
The plan was also very easy to follow. I did not have to weigh out food. I did not have to count calories. I did not have to figure out which foods to eat to lose weight. I just had to follow the instructions that came with the plan and eat the food that the plan provided me with.
When I joined the Nutrisystem plan I also received 24 hour access to the Nutrisystem web site where I could chat with someone for support daily if I needed to. Haven't used it, but its nice to know its there for me. The food was just as tasty as pre-cooked frozen meals you buy in the grocery store. I enjoyed many of the foods that Nutrisystem offers. Really tho', I've had great customer service every time I needed them. Wait times when phoning are awful.
I am very happy with the 30 pounds that I have lost. I love your food and do not want to totally stop my program. I am working with adjusting to everyday food lifestyle. But yet, I do not want to give up my program. I believe this will keep me on track with keeping my weight under control. Thank you for my delays in my order. I tried Nutrisystem and found out I am allergic. I tried returning the items as they indicated there was a full refund policy, and they told me I couldn't.
I called over seven times during the next 30 days and they were not cooperative or helpful at all. I got transferred around many times, and never had any help at all. I ended up moving, and canceled my card. Two months after that they tried charging my credit card and claim they shipped product, which I didn't order.
I never received product because I had moved. Very poor customer service! They try and snag you in and force you to keep buying, even if you don't like the product and even if you are allergic to it! I have told a lot of people about this horrifying experience and they are all appalled and said there are much better programs out there!

For more information about reviews on ConsumerAffairs. My NuMi bottle issue was already taken care of. He therefore missed the window to order the bottle in time for the 2nd month shipment. We would like to have it delivered with the order that is coming up for the 3rd month - we get auto delivery, so it is already set up.
We are happy to hear that your water bottle issue has been handled but are sad to hear that your husband is still having issues.
We will be assigning this to a member of the Consumer Experience Team who will be reaching out soon. I am very disappointed with the food. Most of it tastes the same to me and actually upsets my stomach. I did not realize I only had two weeks to cancel and much of that was mostly drinks.
Then you keep trying different food thinking something will be edible. I know there is plenty of fine print in contracts that should be read. I do not recall being verbally told about these conditions. This was a lesson that left a very bad taste in my mouth. We are sorry that the foods upset your stomach and that you were unaware of the auto-delivery nature of the program. Not clear when I ordered that it would be on automatic order.
Food is not good, not good instructions, dinners were bland. Too many entrees with spicy tomato sauce and cheese, dinners are bland. Shakes made me sick. Emails were only to sell more. This is a follow-up to the review I posted on September 5. Soon after I posted my first review, a rep from Nutrisystem contacted me via email.
The email was courteous, professional, and apologetic for the experience I had. The rep went on to offer replacement of the damaged food items I had received and encouraged me to give their company another try. In light of this swift response and their sincere desire to ensure that I was happy with their product and service, I am revising my review.
I accepted a ready-made menu that containing some items that I did not enjoy. In the future, I will make a point to select food items that I now know to be more to my liking than others. I am very pleased and heartened by Nutrisystem's timely reply and concern for my purchase. They deserve a second chance. I ordered my month's supply of diet food from Nutrisystem with high hopes. When the food shipment arrived, most of the frozen breakfast items were broken into small bits; when I opened the packages, the bits fell out.
Then I tried the frozen lunches. Since I take these to work, the only heating option is microwave. Anything with bread or chicken comes out chewy, gooey, and icy cold in the center. It actually made me gag and lose my appetite, which wasn't the diet plan I expected. I am very careful when reading agreements, and for this item to be overlooked was no easy feat.
Fineprint at the end will do that to you. To add insult to injury, the obnoxious customer service person on the phone refused to accept my cancellation until she badgered me with questions and hard sell tactics in a desperate attempt to keep me buying their awful food. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I will never use or recommend Nutrisystem again. We are so sorry to hear about your poor experience with the delivery of your foods, the food itself, and the representative you dealt with.

Was not satisfied with the taste of most of the foods, had to throw it away and buy something else, and most of the desserts had an ok flavor, And a lot of meals with cheese. I was not happy with that. My first order included items I didn't order and one that I'm allergic to its ingredients.
I was told by one person the items were probably substitutions and when ready they would be replaced. When I called the customer service lady was very rude, basically stated I was lying and wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor. I'm very disappointed with the service I receive so I will take my business to a place that has better customer service. Went thru a few months of products. Following it closely and exercised Sent email to customer support and I was told to think of it as not wasted but I received nutritional food with fiber Now I know why it only got one star.
Weight loss system worksstale product and no one to answer to except counselors with no control. I emailed three correspondences to FIVE different departments only to receive a notice that they don't reply to emails because they were too busy. I also included to them pictures of the moldy carrot cake, along with the packaging that states the date is still okay. The oatmeal is so stale it sticks to the side of the package and had to pour hot water in the bag to get the product out.
Chocolate covered pretzels are stale. We did call and the rep was very nice and stated that she couldn't do anything except replace our stale food. How many packages were bad? I honestly didn't count how many items I threw awayat their prices ANY wasted product is too many! Doesn't anyone there want to see a photo of the stale food?
Does anyone there care? VERY poor about keeping the customer happy, however, are not timid about selling you the program. Shame on you, Nutrisystem. We are sorry to hear about the spoiled and stale items you received. We will be reviewing your account and reaching out soon. Not that I like it, I understand that it was to be paid now. I was on hold for several minutes and when he finally came back he proceeded to tell me that his supervisor was at lunch and would called me back when she returned, "Oh and by the way here's your confirmation for your cancellation".
If you eat times a day, it could keep hunger at bay. You could split your calories equally across all of those mini-meals, or make some bigger than others. What About Meal Replacements?
These products will control your calories. One easy way to lose weight quickly is to cut out liquid calories, such as soda, juice, and alcohol.
Replace them with zero-calorie drinks like lemon water , unsweetened tea , or black coffee. Diet drinks will save you calories, compared with sugary beverages. You might think that fasting is a quick way to drop pounds.
Some involve skipping all food. There are also fasts where you eat every other day. During the first days of your fast, you may feel hungry and grumpy. You may also get constipated. Drink lots of water and take a daily multivitamin.
You should also tell your doctor, especially if you take medications that will probably need to be adjusted. No matter how you kick-start your weight loss, the best way to keep it off is with long-lasting lifestyle changes, like a healthy eating plan and physical activity. You want to drop pounds, now. And you want to do it safely. There are many ways you can do this, without cutting calories too much.
